Series: From Here to Eternity — Part 3

Recently I had a graveside service at an old inner-city cemetery. I wasn’t clear of its exact location, so I plugged in the address with my GPS. Although it worked perfectly, I was somewhat unnerved when I entered the graveyard my GPS announced, “You have reached your final destination.”

Our post Easter journey has been looking at how the resurrection of Jesus opens up the gate to Heaven and makes our resurrection possible. In John 10, Jesus even refers to himself as the “gate.” This is both a present reality as well as a future promise.

So far, I have been talking about what the Bible says (and doesn’t day), about heaven, but what about what others say? Yes, I know Jesus is the only one who has gone and returned, however there are many accounts of people who have physically died, and miraculously came back with a glimpse of eternity.

This week we will look at two instances: one a 4-year-old boy and the other a neurosurgeon.  Just how credible is their witness and how do their images overlap with John’s vision we see in Revelation? Come and see.

Sunday message is, “Heaven is For Real!”

See you on this side,

Pastor Rob
