We’ve all made mistakes. We’ve all done things that if we could only go back in time, we would have done things differently. Can you imagine being a follower of Jesus Christ for three and a half years, seeing his miracles, hearing his teachings, experiencing his love, and then denying that you even know him three times? In one way or another, each of us as believers has at times betrayed our Savior in word, thought, or deed. Daily, we are in need of Christ to restore us by pouring out his mercy afresh.
This Sunday, as we continue to examine what the resurrection means for our lives we will proclaim Peter’s restoration and hopefully see how Jesus restores us all and welcomes us into the Kingdom. (Read John 21:1-19)
