(meeting Jesus at the well)
The first week in our series on “Transformed Living” we looked at how commitment primes the pump to get Jesus’s living waters. The second week we talked about prayer, the drawing of that holy water. This Sunday you will be invited to jump in with your presence, our church attendance.
For this series a wishing well has been placed in our sanctuary, symbolizing the role of the church as a place where we gather to meet Jesus. In Jesus’s day a well was at the center of a community we’re people gathered, socialized and drew the water needed for everyday living. Likewise, the church should be a place where we gather, socialize, and more importantly, encounter the life-giving water of Jesus.
Please join me and pray that God will release living water upon and through our church and that we can be sources of life and love everywhere we go. Let the thirsty souls come to Christ and let the rivers of living water flow again.
So come on in, the water’s fine!
